Plow Day

 

The first plow day was sponsored by SVS&GEA and hosted by the James T. Blue & Sons dairy farm in Shenandoah Junction, WV April 10, 2010.  What a beautiful day to be out in the warm sunshine and cool dirt!  The lawn & garden tractors got to making furrows first in the morning and with a few minor adjustments everyone else got to shining up their plows and turning the dirt.

The Dunn family certainly had the loudest tractor (below)!

Mike Blue gave a few rides on a homemade cart behind "Tess" his Belgian, while Jacob Blue enjoyed turning over some dirt (below).

Thank you to the whole Blue family for hosting this event!

What a treat to see a disc plow
