2007 Friday Steam Show Photos

40th Anniversary 2007!

FRIDAY

Officially known as Day 1 of the SVSGEA "Pageant of Power" Show, visitors will notice antique and vintage farm equipment arriving throughout the day. Those not setting up a tractor display will be getting ready to show their vintage tractor in the annual Friday Night Antique Tractor Pull.
Displays are set up and running throughout the park, the vendors have set up their flea market displays and the 2007 SVSGEA "Pageant of Steam" Show is under way!

Getting Hungry?

We have food booths throughout the Show Park where visitors can order anything from a snow cone or ice cream sandwich to hamburgers, hotdogs, Philly Steak Hoagies, Onion Rings, French Fries, Pop Corn, Funnel Cakes, and Soft Drinks of all kinds.

Take break --- grab a bite and wet that whistle!

There's still MORE TO SEE!

Who says you can't go back in time?  Maybe not in a literal sense but you can see different modes of transportation from the early days of our United States of America!

After checking out these classic restored coaches, be sure to stroll on over by the Clubhouse and visit the antique trucks display proudly hosted each year by Fred Craig and members of the American Truck Historical Society.

Antique truck pictures are posted on the Saturday Page of this photo album.

Each year, the SVSGEA "Pageant of Steam" show features a number of exhibitors who bring their vintage gas engines to be displayed during our show.  As you browse through these photos, you will notice that some of these exhibitors can be very creative in how they display their engines in actual working situations, recreating how these engines might have been used in their actual time in history.
We certainly appreciate our Exhibitors for bringing their machines and displays to our shows each year.
